Things We SHOULD Say More Often

At our Back-to-School night this year, we piggybacked on a writing activity we did in class in which we watched Kid President share, "20 Things WE Should Say More Often." After watching the video (linked below), parents were asked to write down one or more things that they felt we could all benefit from saying more often. They ranged from questions to comments to shouts of encouragement.
Listed below are just a few.

Good morning!
What do you think?
You rock!
Don't sit by yourself, come and sit with us.
I am so proud of you :)
Keep calm and Dance On.
Can I take that for you?
It's my pleasure.
It's okay to make a mistake.
Nobody is perfect.
Learn from your mistake.
Perfection is the art of improvement.
People should smile more often!
Please.
Thanks for sharing, I hadn't thought of it that way.
It is your turn, I will wait.
I love you!
You look awesome today!
Do you need help?
Can I help you?
Is a pea in a soup, a pea or a soup?
Hi! How are you today?
Keep smiling!
Thank you for being you.
Ladies first.
Be good to others!
Hi, would you like to play with us?
(to a friend) Hi, you look stressed today. Can I take you out for a cup of coffee? It may make you feel better.

Just a drop in a larger pool

This is just a short start to what will hopefully be an ongoing class blog this year at Star.
